Philosophy

I strongly believe that if a child is provided with a safe, warm, happy and nurturing environment, and given developmentally appropriate activities, he or she will thrive!

Each child develops at their own rate and this is recognized at The Cozy Corner. Each milestone is noted and celebrated together! I encourage respect for each other and for property, friendliness and caring.

I set limits for children and they quickly learn the routine and what is expected of them as a small group. I teach through modeling appropriate behavior, praising fine behavior and friendly behavior and rewarding with smiles and hugs!

"When we were trying to find a part-time daycare we were looking for a situation where our only son would feel comfortable as this was his first time away from both mom and dad. We visited numerous other places and kept walking out thinking that they just didn’t fit our needs. With great luck we found out that Cozy Corner was opening and signed up immediately.

Cozy Corner has made our son feel like it is his second home. Ann has been nurturing, encouraging, loving, educational and just plain fun! We trust Ann completely and are thankful that we have had such a great situation for the past 2 ½ years.
