The Cozy Corner

We were looking for a place where my 3-yr. old could go and feel comfortable while my oldest and I had some time for home schooling. This would be my daughter’s first experience in any sort of program at which her older sister and I were not present. We were all nervous. We looked at a traditional preschool setting. It didn’t feel right. The emphasis was on lessons, not on the children themselves.

Then, by chance we found Cozy Corner. During our visit all three of us felt immediately at ease. Ann’s comfortable manner welcomed us. We felt ‘at home.’ In fact, my daughter will often remark at how Cozy Corner feels just like her home.

Ann clearly cares for each child as an individual and the small setting lets her meet each child’s needs. My daughter always looks forward to attending and I know she is in a safe, loving environment – playing and learning and making friends – at her own pace and on her own terms. I appreciate the one-on-one attention Ann delivers as well as the high level of communication she provides, even giving daily write-ups of what my daughter did/said/ate that day.
